The RN24 article says no, there’s no little-known Shinto or Buddhist thing that mentions Alpacas as good luck.
The brides and grooms just think it’s Cute. See, some things need no translation.

Always mute your phone during meetings.
You don’t necessarily need to have a chat in the restroom.
Try not to always be the last person to a meeting. Poor form.
No one likes Loud Talkers.
If you’re sick, stay home. No one else wants your cold.
We understand you have a large music collection. Use headphones- not everyone wants to hear the 12″ remix of “Into The Groove.” Over and over.
No one likes close talkers, either.
Maybe don’t always take the last Krispy Kreme.
If you take the last of the coffee, make another pot.

In the five decades since it first aired, its main character has worn many different costumes and had many different faces,” according to the video’s blurb. Why dress up a Corgi as the Doctor? “Because Corgis are cool,” the video text flatly states.

Got an update for you on the Macy’s Holiday Windows in San Francisco. All the windows are full of cute furballs that can be adopted on site! Krista M. of the SFSPCA says they are currently at 187 adoptions. Details on the photos below are in the hovers- above, “Two of our latest adoptions at Holiday Windows…litter mates Kamari and Kapuki went home together” says Krista. Here’s the window schedule. They’re open today but closed tomorrow.
