I've been active in fandom since 1972 when I attended the second Star Trek convention in NYC. Soon after, I figured out that drawing silly little cartoons would get me a contributor's copy of a zine, then I graduated to submitting stories (getting 'tribber's copies saved me a ton of cash over the years.) I edited and published several zines in the 1980s and 90s as "Teeny Gozer Productions", which is where I got my LJ name from, and co-chaired a convention in New Jersey on August 3-5, 1990. These days mostly I just read fanfic as opposed to writing it. I hope to one day find a fandom that makes me want to write again.
